A surprise appearance by Orelsan, Hoshi, The Black Keys, Jean-Louis Aubert and a heat wave, this year's Beauregard festival was marked by many unforgettable moments and events and as the last artists prepare to join the stage, we thought we'd take a look back at some of the highlights so far.
A surprise appearance by Orelsan
Undoubtebly one of Caen's most recognisable artists, Orelsan joined the Beaureagard stage this year during his friend Gringe's set on Saturday. Despite rumours spread amongst some of Gringe and Orelsan's more involved fans, the secret had remained well garded from the general public and the appearance delighted and surprised many a festival-goer!
An unforgettable performance by French Rock icon Jean-Louis Aubert
On Thursday, ex Téléphone band member Jean-Louis Aubert rocked the hearts of many with some of his and the band's most unforgettable tunes. New-York avec toi, but also Juste une illusion and Ça (c’est vraiment toi) were among the songs played by the seventy year old rockstar.
More to come as the festival's end draws closer
After Wet Leg's set, more is yet to come on tonight, the festival last day of the year. Clara Luciani will join the stage for her second appearance on Hérouville-Saint-Clair's iconic stage at 10:30 after Fontaines D.C..
And to end this year's festivities, DJ Martin Garrix.
