For the second year in a row, I was invited to host the Mister France Normandie beauty pageant finals in Colleville-Montgomery (Calvados). A packed ceremony, the goal of which was to select our Mister France Normandie for 2025 who will wave the region's flag in the national finals on Saturday, 17th January and hopefully become Mister France 2026.

Eight finalists, but only one Mister France Normandie winner

The evening began with each candidate's introduction; they spoke about themselves, their goals and reasons for taking part in the beauty pageant in front of a crowd and the evening's jury.

After this, they showcased their skills on the catwalk in different outfits (casual, swimwear and formal), interpreting various forms of choreography which they had prepared collectively prior to the election. The aim being to showcase their confidence, charisma and style in the hopes of impressing the jury.

The 2025 pageant results

It was his second year taking part in the pageant; last year, he was the first runner-up to Jérémy Petit (Mister France Normandie 2024 and the first runner-up in the national Mister France 2025 finals), but this year, Lucas Gridaine was awarded the Mister France Normandie 2025 sash.

He was closely followed by his runner-ups:

  • Baptiste Béliard (1st runner-up, 2nd from the right in the photo)

  • Nicolas Lin (2nd runner-up, on the right in the photo)

A ticket to the national finals in Paris

Lucas, a resident of Petit-Couronne in the Seine-Maritime departement (76) and 22-year-old physiotherapy student, will now have the chance to represent his home region of Normandy in the national finals in Rueil-Malmaison (Île-de-France region).

What exciting new opportunities this newfound success will bring to him remains to be seen.
