They're a group of University students with a mission: to give everyone a chance to access cultural events. Dancing, music, a tombola with many prizes to be won; on Monday (22nd December), the salle Célestin Freinet in Hérouville-Saint-Clair will host the first edition of their Kultur'Access event.

Their plan is to create an environment in which everyone has access to cultural events and outings, namely in "quartiers prioritaires" (a government initiative that aims to bring together and renew the poorest urban areas, requiring intervention by public authorities). It is in these places, where culture can sometimes feel inaccessible, that Kultur'Access wants to plant its flag.
So, what is the project about exactly?
A big raffle
On Monday, the organisers will be hosting a big raffle with a variety of prizes. A raffle ticket costs 2€ and gives you a chance to win cinema tickets or invitations to cultural events and outings.
An evening of entertainment
Even if you don't want to take part in the raffle, the evening will be jam-packed with things to do. Kultur'Access will bring a selection of books, freely available to attendees. There will be shows, with a hip-hop dance set and some singing, but also games, quizzes and debate sessions to take part in. All for free!
There will also be food stands on location to discover Senegalese cooking and Japanese coffee.
If you want to attend, Kultur'Access is happening Monday 22nd December at the salle Célestin Freinet in Hérouville-Saint-Clair from 2 to 6 pm. Food will be served starting 1 pm.
For any question, you can contact the organisers on their Instagram account.
